Club Committee
Andrew joined the Kings Hill FC committee in 2016 and has since played a pivotal role in shaping the club’s direction and growth. He has held several leadership roles, including Head of Club Strategy and Vice Chairman of Women & Girls Football, where he was instrumental in launching one of the first-ever Wildcats centres in Kent and creating a clear player pathway for girls and women culminating in the formation of the club’s Women’s 1st Team.
After managing the team through its formative years and building a strong squad of over 20 players, Andrew stepped away ahead of the 2022/23 season but returned to the dugout for 2024/25 to support the next phase of development.
As Club Chairman since the 2023/24 season, Andrew has led a period of significant growth, with the club now home to over 900 players and preparing to field 75 teams for the 2025/26 season. Under his leadership, the club has expanded its elite pathway with JPL teams for girls and a new boys’ JPL programme launching next season. In recognition of this progress and the club’s deep community impact, Kings Hill FC was named Grassroots Club of the Year in 2025.
Andrew is an FA Level 2 qualified coach and is currently focused on securing funding for a second 3G pitch to meet the club’s long-term facility needs. A passionate advocate for grassroots football, all three of his children have played for Kings Hill FC over the past decade.
I took on the challenging joint role of Club Secretary in 2018 and am now the sole Club Secretary. This is a role which is a key function at the Club with a long list of tasks but my main role is ensure that administratively the Club is in the best shape. At the start of the season there are over 900 players and 75 teams to register individually both with the club and with the 13 leagues we participate in. During the season I am the first point of contact for the numerous communications with the relevant leagues and liaison between the leagues and the managers and coaches in the club.
I have children who play and have played in the Club. My middle son is still in the club and I used to coach my eldest son from U14-U18 and coached my daughter up to U10s before she moved to a girls regional talent centre. More recently I stepped in to coach a newly formed U8 Girls teams before some of the parents felt confident to take over and supported Andrew with the Women’s 1st Team last season. Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed coaching, the secretary role now takes up much of my time so I have passed on the reigns to a new team of coaches but still keep in touch with the teams to see how they are doing.
I am immensely proud of this club and I am sure if you cut me open I would probably bleed yellow and blue. Seeing a sea of blue and yellow over the weekend at the sports park, watching the children enjoy our fantastic tournament and the pride of the players at presentation day are highlights of my year and that is why I am so passionate about ensuring we give all our wonderful members whatever age or ability the opportunity to play the beautiful game.
Scott first got involved with the club 7 years ago as a manager of the U6’s. He is a Level 1 qualified coach as well as holding safeguarding for committee members, coaching disability football, coaching vulnerable adults and recently a level 1 grounds person qualification. His first role on the committee was as treasurer in 2018 and held this role for 4 years running his son’s team.
In 2020 Scott established the Jets (deaf, disability and SEN) teams with Hazel Hunt. This was a unique opportunity for the club to become even more inclusive and it is one of the most rewarding parts of his role. Scott oversees the running of 3 youth and 3 adult Disability teams and more recently coaching the County Adult disability team.
During 2022 the club had a restructuring of the committee and Scott was asked to take on the role of Vice Chair boys/mixed competitive football. As with most opportunities he was willing and excited to take on the challenge. Scott is looking forward to working with an extremely dedicated group of coaches and managers to support them and the development of all our players. Having lived on Kings Hill on and off since 2002, Scott loves being part of our community and working towards a bigger and better club for our children in the future. He is a firm believer that there should be no barriers to playing sport and strives to make it accessible for all.
Having played and managed at various levels within Kent Football, Barry started coaching at Kings Hill FC in 2014 with the Under 7 age group and took the team right the way through to Under 18s, finishing coaching in the 2024/25 season. Additionally, he took on the role as the club’s FA Charter Officer in 2016 and then at the beginning of 2019 moved from this into the role of Vice Chairman, Competitive Football and then eventually into the role as Club Chairman in the summer of 2020. During the 2023/24 season, Barry moved from Chairman into the Head of Men’s Adult Football role that he currently holds.
Barry is keen to give every effort to support the progression of the men’s adult teams at the club within the non-league pyramid, with a view to providing a high level of football for club youngsters to participate in as they move to adult football. He is extremely keen to see the link between the adult and youth sections of the club continue to develop and is delighted to see the number of ex junior players that are now progressing within our adult teams.
After my two sons joined Kings Hill FC and began playing football with the club, it quickly became clear to me just how special this community truly is. I was so impressed by the club’s spirit, values, and commitment to youth development that I felt compelled to get involved.
What started as coaching and managing my sons’ teams soon grew into helping with club events and, eventually, stepping into the role of Vice Chairman for Boys/Mixed Football. I’ve proudly held this position for the past four years.
In my role, I oversee the club’s thriving junior football section—currently made up of 23 teams and over 240 players, from our U5 Development Squad through to U11s, just before they progress into competitive leagues. It’s a privilege to support these young players during such a formative stage of their football journey.
Kings Hill FC has served the local community for over 20 years, offering fantastic opportunities for children of all abilities. I’m proud to be part of a club that has been recognised as Kent FA’s Grassroots Club of the Year twice in the past three years, and even prouder to work alongside a committee of passionate, dedicated volunteers. Together, we share a clear vision: to continue building Kings Hill FC into one of the very best grassroots football clubs in the country.
Rich joined the club in 2019 when he started coaching his daughters U10 Hurricanes team and is still coaching this team who are now U16s. Last season Rich also started coaching the girls U11 Hurricanes team where his youngest daughter also plays.
In April 2025 Rich joined the committee as Vice Chairman of competitive girls football covering ages from U12 up to the women’s first team. He is a point of contact for all coaches and aims to help develop and retain players at all ages and provide a pathway for girls to progress into the first team set up.
Rich aims to continue to grow the girls section and hopes that all current and new players to the club will continue to develop and enjoy playing at Kings Hill.
Jack joined the club as a coach in 2022 when his son began playing for KHFC’s U5 team. He now manages the U8 Rangers and coaches his daughter’s U11 Girls Hurricanes team.
In April 2025 Jack joined the committee as Vice Chairman of Non-Competitive Girls (Wildcats (U5, U6 & U7) U8 ,U9, U10 & U11). He is a point of contact for the club’s younger girls teams, which includes attracting interest and retaining players as they progress through the seasons.
The club’s ethos is for its players to enjoy playing football and for all members to help aid the development of the players in a nurturing team environment. Jack is looking forward to ensuring this is at the forefront of the growing girls section at KHFC for years to come.
Chris joined the coaching staff at Kings Hill in 2021 to help with his son’s u7’s team and now supports the coaching set up for the u12s Colts and manages the u12s Boys JPL team. In 2025 the club took a view, that with the continued expansion of the JPL across the country, an opportunity existed to develop the proposition at the club. Chris happily took on the role of VC JPL at Kings Hill, tasked with developing our proposition for boys and girls to play at a high standard to help support the club’s ambition to provide football for players of all abilities as well as help build pathways to our Adult Men’s and Women’s teams.
Chris also looks after our Pitch Bookings, ensuring the 70+ Kings Hill teams all have pitches booked and allocated for their home games throughout the season.
When Chris isn’t on the sidelines of his three children’s games at the weekend, he also plays for FC Ditton Vets and Super Vets teams (although would prefer it if everyone didn’t know he qualifies for Super Vets)!
