U16 Rangers

The U16 Rangers are a close-knit, energetic group who have grown together over many years. As the club’s development team, the squad has evolved over time, with players coming and going, but a strong core remains who have been together for much of their football journey, with some players having been part of the team since its inception at U7 level.

The team has competed in the Maidstone Youth Football League over the last few seasons and enjoyed some success in summer tournaments. Those experiences have helped the players develop both individually and as a team, building confidence, resilience and a real understanding of what it means to play for each other.

Now moving into the 2026/2027 season and competing in the Maidstone Minor League, the players are developing into young men, and the emphasis is increasingly on competitiveness, commitment and teamwork. Every player has a role to play, and the Rangers understand that individual effort and responsibility contribute to the success of the team.

Most importantly, the coaching team wants the players to enjoy their football and learn their role in a team. We encourage them to work hard, compete positively, support their team-mates and give 100% on the pitch, whatever the score or result.

We believe in creating an environment where players can develop their football, take responsibility and enjoy playing with their friends. We want the Rangers to be competitive and determined, while maintaining the respect, togetherness and enjoyment that have been at the heart of the team throughout their journey. Every player is encouraged to express themselves on the ball, support team-mates and enjoy the game. The Rangers value effort, attitude and respect, on and off the pitch, and they are a pleasure to coach. With the league now under way, the group looks settled, united and excited for what lies ahead.
